Position available the end of April. No nights or weekends. We have a beautiful modern office, in an old restored farmhouse, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team and sincere Doctors who are honest and dedicated to quality care. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who exudes a positive attitude, has the ability to multitask, takes initiative and is willing to learn. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments. Applying fluoride and sealants to prevent dental decay. Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins. Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums; using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession. Taking digital radiographs and use of intra oral camera. Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist. Experience with Eaglesoft/Dexis is a plus but not necessary. 1 hour prophy, 1.5 hour SRP, 1.5 hour New Patients Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k, PTO Compensation: $38-$42/hour
