We're seeking a visionary Chief of Gastroenterology to shape an innovative academic division focused on excellence in clinical care, research, and education as part of our Vision 2030 strategy. Job Responsibilities: Design and build a cutting-edge GI program in alignment with our strategic goals Create a dynamic academic GI division focusing on research, education, and advanced clinical care Develop and expand advanced GI services, including complex endoscopic procedures Recruit, train, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of GI hospitalists and support staff Provide expert consultation and management of complex GI cases as a hands-on clinical leader Drive collaboration across specialties, especially in cancer care Manage robust referral volumes and ensure consistent endoscopic block time Engage with underserved communities to enhance access and reduce disparities Qualifications: Board Certification in Gastroenterology (MANDATORY) Active and unrestricted New Jersey state medical license or willingness to obtain it Hands-on experience in leadership roles such as Chief or Medical Director preferred History of malpractice or licensing issues considered, with limitations Open to experienced gastroenterologists only; new grads are not accepted License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology Active NJ state medical license (or willingness to obtain before start) Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS (or willingness to obtain) Documentation of malpractice history disclosure and NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) Discover the vibrant city of Atlantic City —a popular resort destination renowned for its beaches, boardwalk, and entertainment.
