Speech Language Pathologist - IP Therapy Overview Join our fast
growing Therapy Team, where we are advancing health and
transforming lives. Speech language pathologists evaluate patients
referred for appraisal of speech, language, voice, fluency, and
dysphazia. The ideal candidate carries out therapy, if appropriate,
communicates results to patients, parents and other professionals.
The Therapy department is a family, so this indivdual would
participates in various Hospital and community related activities..
Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for referred
patients according to accepted principles and practices of Speech
Therapy. Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum.
Maintains working relationships with Hospital leadership,
physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, allied health
professionals, ancillary services, and hospital support personnel.
Supervised by and reports to Therapy Manager or Senior Therapist.
Supervises assistants, aides, and students. We offer the most
innovative treatment options and advanced therapy techniques to
ensure our patients get back to doing what they love as quickly as

Neurological Cognitive, Voice, and Swallow Rehabilitation. Video
Swallow study experience required within this role and/or
willingness/desire to train. Responsibilities Evaluates patients
referred for appraisal of speech, language, dysphagia and/or voice
disorders. Carries out therapy, if appropriate, communicates
results to patients, parents and other professionals, participates
in various Hospital and community related activities.
Qualifications Previous experience with a variety of neurogenic
disorders and swallowing disorders with adults. Experiences with
videofluroscopy swallow assessment. Graduate of an accredited
program, CCC required.
