Michele's Granola, you would be part of a growing production team
of people, helping to prepare our special recipes of granola cereal
in addition to properly baking, cooling, and finalizing quality
control of the product before it is packaged. Teamwork and open
communication are a large part of our operation. The ideal
candidate would be comfortable expressing, critiquing, and acting
on his/her own ideas as well as others'. This is a creative work
environment with a focus on securing and maintaining the highest
quality product possible. All employees are required to follow all
food and personal hygiene and safety guidelines outlined by our
GMP, FSMA, and OSHA programs. In addition, employees will be
expected to fill out any logs or forms for regulatory purposes
daily. Basic Expectations of the Baker include: Outstanding food

accuracy, time management, organization, reliability and enthusiasm

responding to company’s opportunities for growth Responsibilities
of the Baker include: Arriving on time for the start of each
production shift Adhering to safe work practices, cleaning,
uniform, and hygiene standards Following all established recipes,
food handling, baking, packaging and cleaning procedures, including
workflow routines Ensuring consistency in food quality and
upholding our high-quality assurance and sanitation standards
Ensuring the maintenance of a clean, sanitary production facility
to control allergens and contamination by performing opening,
periodic and closing sanitation and cleaning duties, including but
not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work
surfaces, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
Promptly notifying management of any issues related to production,
facility, or equipment. Other duties as assigned, e.g., assisting
with Quality Control programs and facility maintenance Specific
Duties of the Baker include: Measuring and mixing raw materials
according to recipe specifications Weighing product onto sheet pans
according to recipe specifications Spreading product across sheet
pans according to recipe specifications Loading and pushing 150lbs
oven racks, adhering to all pan and rack Quality Assurance
guidelines Loading and unloading up to four (4) double rotating
rack ovens simultaneously Baking and Cooling product to
specifications Flipping trays of baked product and breaking up
product into smaller chunk sized pieces Other duties as assigned
