POSITION: -Vision Technician I (12-hr shifts) SHIFTS: -12-hr Days (6am to 6pm) or 12-hr Nights (6pm to 6am) EDUCATION / PRIOR EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience (3+ months) as -Vision Technician or equivalent Basic understanding of computer software in a Windows environment (required) Knowledge of automated devices such as sensors, PLCs, transfer mechanisms, conveyors and machine vision, required Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and cGMP (highly preferred) Experience in glass forming industry and/or pharmaceutical industry (preferred) Demonstrated communication skills (written / oral) including the ability to read/speak English Ability and willingness to work 12-hr Shifts within a 2-2-3 -pattern Ability and willingness to work in a production floor setting with moderate noise Ability and willingness to work in fast-paced, matrix structured organization - SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE: - - Responsible for setting up and maintaining inspection equipment. Where applicable, assist with Production tasks pertaining to continuous improvement measures and other pharmaceutical packaging initiatives. - Potential duties/responsibilities include (but not limited to): Maintain and adjust the mechanical inspection equipment to meet the required quality standards Maintain and adjust transfers, sensors, guides and rails to allow for unobstructed movement of product Support and sustain the hardware and software, including applicable upgrades for the inspection equipment Evaluate the system data and support the identification and troubleshooting of the root cause failures and required corrections Perform validations and calibrations of inspection equipment Troubleshoot equipment or software failures Assist in training and development of new hires and/or transfers to similar role(s) Follow technical direction provided by Engineering Technician(s) Help cover for absences concerning other Vision Technician(s) Participate in required trainings and meetings, when necessary Follow all Company policies and procedures, along with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Help implement and/or suggest new concepts of IMSU/EHS in area of responsibility, while adhering to all safety policies and regulations, along with the EHS Guideline; maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow cGMP
