Job Description:
Reset your expectations of a health and wellness agency. From
our inception, Fingerpaint has been driven by an unstoppable
collective spirit of possibility. It’s that curiosity that’s at the
heart of everything we do. From our legendary people-first culture
to the hundreds of Fingerpainters who define us, we’ve reimagined
what it means to be a healthcare and wellness advertising agency.
Here, creativity happens naturally—we attract top talent and give
them a space to grow and collaborate. The Wet Paint AI Innovation
team is a dedicated R&D group focused on transforming our ways
of working with applied AI. We identify high-value opportunities
and build the agents, tools, and workflows that will empower the
broader agency to achieve its business goals and imagine new
solutions. Role Overview The Product Manager, AI Innovation, is the
strategic owner of the agency’s AI product roadmap. You define the
"path to value," responsible for identifying high-impact friction
points within the agency and client workflows, and prioritizing the
development of AI solutions that solve them. This leader serves as
a central connector between technical execution and business
strategy. You will gather requirements, prioritize features, and
manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch—ensuring that
we are not just building novel technology, but delivering robust
solutions that drive adoption and efficiency. Please note that this
is a hybrid role that requires 2 days per week onsite in
Philadelphia, PA. Duties and Responsibilities Product Strategy &
Roadmapping Define the "What" and "Why": Maintain the product
roadmap for proprietary AI tools, agents, and workflows. You
prioritize initiatives based on business impact, ensuring we invest
resources in solutions that deliver the highest ROI for the agency.
Discovery & User Research: Conduct interviews with internal teams
(Creative, Strategy, Account) to uncover unmet needs. You translate
vague complaints ("this takes too long") into concrete product
opportunities ("we need an agent to automate reference checking").
Feasibility Analysis: Partner with the broader technical and
creative team (Engineering, Data, Strategy, Creative Technology) to
validate feasibility before committing to a roadmap. You facilitate
the transition of experimental prototypes into stable, scalable
software requirements. Execution & Delivery Agile Leadership: Lead
the agile development process (Sprint Planning, Standups,
Retrospectives), serving as the primary point of contact for the
engineering team to clarify specifications and unblock decisions.
Requirement Definition: Translate high-level business goals into
detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development
team. Build vs. Buy: Continuously evaluate the market to determine
when we should integrate off-the-shelf AI tools versus building
custom solutions. Adoption & Change Management Product Evangelism:
A tool is only valuable if it is used. You lead the rollout
strategy for new AI products, conducting training sessions and
creating documentation to drive adoption across the agency.
Feedback Loops: Establish channels for user feedback to iterate on
live products. You monitor usage metrics and satisfaction scores to
inform future updates. Commercialization: Collaborate with Client
Service teams to package successful internal tools into
client-facing offerings where appropriate. Governance & Compliance
Partner with Operations and Legal to ensure all product features
adhere to privacy and security standards. Requirements and
Experience Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Product
Management, preferably within a digital agency, marketing
technology, or SaaS environment. AI Fluency: You dont need to write
code, but you must speak the language. You understand the
capabilities and limitations of LLMs and can make informed
trade-offs between cost, speed, and quality. The Method: Deep
experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with
product management tools. The Industry: Experience working in
regulated industries (healthcare/pharma) is highly preferred Soft
Skills: Exceptional ability to manage without authority, rallying
cross-functional teams around a shared vision. Data-Driven: Comfort
with analytics; ability to define success metrics and pivot product
strategy based on performance data. Don’t meet every single
requirement? That’s okay! Studies have shown that women and people
of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every
single qualification. At Fingerpaint, we are dedicated to building
a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited
about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we
encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate
for this or other roles! Our team of qualified recruiters can match
you with the right opportunity. Fingerpaint Group provides equal
employment [and affirmative action] opportunities to all applicants
and employees. We are proud to recruit qualified applicants without
regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, ethnic or national
origin, protected veteran status, physical or mental disability,
sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or citizenship
status.
