Description The Software Engineer shall be responsible for creating, sustaining, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows including data storage, data transport, data management, data security, data compliance, and knowledge store management. Additional tasking shall include working with the mission customer to perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform and convert the raw data into the required formats. The Software Engineer shall also be responsible for devising methods to improve existing operational data flow processing, distribution, and reliability. Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Experience Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Required skills: Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python Experience designing and implementing Java solutions Experience with Apache NiFi system administration Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) Desired skills: Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain Perl scripts and applications Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $250,000 - $275,000.
