Systems Administrator Intern The Opportunity: Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems. Provide day-to-day system administration, including system and resource optimization, and user assistance. C ond uct capacity and performance analysis and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations. Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develop system administrator procedures, and c ond uct system administrator training and skills assessment. Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities and programming techniques, and controls. You Have: Knowledge of the configuration and operation of systems Ability to maintain servers, create monitoring reports and logs, and ensure functionality of system links Ability to perform system capacity analysis and planning Ability to monitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish back-ups, and monitor system security Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring 2028 Nice If You Have: Experience with systems administration in an academic or professional environment Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information . Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
