As a CDL-A Local Driver, you will be a vital part of our core operations, ensuring that shipments reach their destinations efficiently and on time. This role is pivotal in strengthening our commitment to exceptional service within the Northeastern United States. We offer a supportive work environment geared towards professional growth and operational excellence. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to fulfill daily delivery assignments. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to our customers, adhering to routes and schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure mechanical safety. Complete necessary paperwork and maintain logs as per state and federal regulations. Coordinate with the logistics team to track deliveries and troubleshoot any issues on route. Maintain communication with dispatchers and warehouse teams to update on delivery statuses. Adhere to company safety policies, and state and federal transport regulations. Proven ability to navigate large vehicles in varying traffic and weather conditions. Strong time management and organizational skills. Effective communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic knowledge of maintenance and emergency repairs for transportation vehicles.
