Job Purpose and ImpactThe Retail Senior Technician will support the food safety, quality, and operational teams by coordinating process initiatives, training operations staff, auditing processes, and developing expertise in food safety protocols and computer systems. In this role, you will also assist in food safety and regulatory audits, mock retrievals, coordinate incident management for retail, initiatives, and follow-up.Key AccountabilitiesKeep laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt.Assist with the evaluation and interpretation of highly complex data, identify problems with atypical test results and consult with senior level personnel.Examining and evaluate data and select corrective steps.Support trials and experiments under the direction of more senior team members.Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent.Minimum of four years of related work experience.Strong knowledge of technical writing.Strong level of competence with Microsoft Office Suite.Must have a valid driver’s license and own a personal vehicle.Must be willing to travel between locations as needed.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, or related disciplineThree or more years of experience within a laboratory or food manufacturing environment.LI-DD1 themuse FGBPosition InformationRelocation assistance will not be provided for this position.Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet Salary: .
