Job Description The Strategic Sales Director - Tier 1 Bank is
responsible for delivering building and growing the CyberSource
white label business with one of Europe’s largest acquirers.
This position is responsible for the strategic and tactical
orchestration of the overall sales strategy and go to market
planning with ultimate accountability for the sales engagement and
associated sales targets with our partner. The position will work
with a cross-functional team of internal colleagues as well as with
the Corporate sales teams of the acquirer to create value for both
the acquirers end merchants as well as CyberSource. They will be an
intrinsic dedicated resource to support the overall relationship
with the acquirer.
Build deep relationships within the sales organisation of the
acquirer to educate and position on how the value added by
CyberSource is demonstrable to the partner and their merchants.
Build a clear understanding of the acquirers’ business model,
expansion plans and long term strategy to identify new merchant
Demonstrate high levels of confidence and a ‘can do’ attitude as
the role will involve the need to think outside the box in order to
develop commercially focused strategic business propositions
Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of the business
challenges faced by the acquirers target vertical markets of
retail, essential services and food and beverage.
Support the sales community by supporting internal meetings; new
business forums, win workshops
Support the sales education and training plan
Ensure the white label payment gateway is the” best in class”
payment solution in Europe
Work with the Cybersource Sales Enablement and Marketing
resource to build out strong value propositions and solutions for
the acquirer sales teams to take to market
Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in
CyberSource’s products and services which can be demonstrated to
the acquirer and their merchants in a clear and concise manner.
Support the RFP process for any new business opportunities, by
providing insights and solution ideas which leverage the
CyberSource solution offering
Support any merchant facing meetings to position the CyberSource
white label solution in conjunction with the overall acquirer value
proposition to ensure mutual success for both the acquirer and
Represent any new merchant product requests not currently
supported to the appropriate stakeholder groups, both at the
acquirer and within CyberSource, accompanied by commercial and
Work with the acquirer sales teams to retain, maintain and grow
their existing portfolio of clients aligned with revenue
Utilise the acquirers sales methodology to identify the
respective buying influences within the end merchant and develop
engagement plans to expand the relationship.
Plan and manage client business reviews in line with defined
timeframes and recurrence with clear outcomes and next actions.
Attend monthly Governance meetings between the acquirer and
CyberSource in order to provide key updates on pipeline and deal
stages, and overall performance against target.
Ensure accuracy of the Cybersource CRM system to ensure account
information is readily available to stakeholders and ensure data is
accurate to maximise forecasting accuracy
