Kelly Services is searching for a--Chemical Engineer--to join the team of a Fortune 500 chemical company in Collegeville, PA in a long term contract.This is a long term contract (12+ month), and pay for this role will be $26--- $28/hour.This role will train on 1st shift, and then will switch to a rotating, 8-hour shift schedule. This role will operate Monday - Friday.MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAttentively and reliably monitors a complex chemical process operation via computer control screens, including reactors and distillation columns.-- Reliably manages control system setpoints and intelligently responds to chemical process changes according to process control strategy.-- Ensures proper data logging, capturing operating notes, and required documentation.-- Monitors feed and waste vessel states and levels, coordinates fills/drains to maintain steady uninterrupted operation.Skills & Knowledge Desired-- Familiarity with continuous chemical process laboratory and/or pilot plant operations.-- Knows names and uses of laboratory apparatus for common chemical engineering operations.-- Familiarity with process and instrumentation diagram concepts, general ability to read and follow such diagrams.-- Computer skills and learning aptitude to operate process control, analytical, spreadsheet and word processing software for design and data analysis and communication.-- Ability to work 8 hour day or night shift with effective ownership of the work duties and process areas.--Education Requirements--- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and--3 - 6 months relevant experience in a chemical process development or production environment is desired.--Kelly Services is committed to employee inclusion through our dedication to foster an innovative workforce by recognizing, celebrating, and embracing the diversity that all Kelly employees bring to our organization and our customers.-- --Why Kelly--?Kelly Science & Clinical is your connection to premier scientific and clinical companies looking to hire talented people just like you.
