Overview

Manager, Digital Communications

The Manager, Digital Communications is responsible for the successful execution of the company's digital strategy across social media, web and e-mail marketing platforms for the Traverse family of brands. This individual will report to and partner with the VP of Communication Strategy and Public Relations to drive all aspects of digital communications initiatives forward.

  • Work closely with hospital leadership, marketing, and recruiting to plan, execute and optimize digital campaigns Collaborate with Chief Strategy Officer and/or VP of Communication Strategy and Public Relations to set KPIs, evaluate and improve digital and brand initiatives Deliver efforts/programs that increase brand awareness, drive engagement and influence healthcare consumer behavior Deliver on and improve on established web strategies Collaborate on social media and email strategies Actively engage in measurement, evaluation and reporting of the effectiveness of all digital communication programs and campaigns Partner with hospital and corporate leadership to share successes and improvements across departments and with stakeholders Stays abreast of trends, evolving technologies and capabilities and finds ways to apply as appropriate Act as a backup resource for all social media activity Exhibit creative thinking and strong writing and verbal communication skills Embody strong team player mentality Track, analyze and report on traffic, user, and campaign analytics that support the overall digital strategy of the Company Translate marketing objectives into clear, creative strategies which reflect the Company's brand Manages brand standards and ensures consistency in tone and design throughout the Company's digital platforms

Qualifications

Education and Training: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or related field

Minimum Work Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital communications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with content management systems Working knowledge of Hootsuite, Constant Contact and/or other social media and email marketing platforms Strong experience with data and analytics across web, social and email campaigns Strong understanding of SEO principles Experience with project management principles and project management platforms Experience working with cross-functional teams including IS/IT, Video Services, Creative Services Experience working with or managing third party vendors or agencies Entrepreneurial mindset Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong in follow-up and follow-through, with attention to detail Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Versatile and flexible; embraces change and able to adapt to the needs of the business
