The person will be responsible for maintaining the fleet of railroad cars to AAR and FRA standards.Great benefits including 100% paid medical insurance for you and your family! Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains railroad cars by welding repairs or fabricating new parts
• Performs all work adhering to MSHA, FRA, AAR, BMHK RR and H&K Safety policies.
• Coordinates with General Foreman on ordering parts and keeping stock on property.
• Keeps proper records for corporate and proper authority review
• Cleans equipment as needed.
• Ensures equipment is safely and securely parked and stored.
• Maintains equipment by greasing properly and checking fluids daily (oils, coolant, fuel level).
• Performs daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
