Psychotherapist/1-year Interim - (22000306) Description Milton Hershey School (MHS) is currently seeking a 1-year interim full-time Psychotherapist to provide direct and indirect psychological services to assigned students between PreK through 12th grade. This position has the responsibility to provide individual clinical services with an average caseload of 25-30 students. This requires the development of organized treatment plans, decision-making regarding students--- safety and mental health needs (level of required therapeutic intervention and completion of clinical notes and summaries of psychotherapy) and consultation. Direct care services include individual and group therapy, case management, crisis assessment and intervention, psychological assessment, and consultation. Clinical decisions regarding assessment of psychopathology, triage of care (including hospitalization), assessment of risk of harm to self or others and safety planning are completed on a routine basis. Consultation and collaboration with Home Life, Scholastic, Health Services, Administrators, Parent/Sponsors, and outside agencies involved in the student's care as well as training and staff development are provided. Further, the psychotherapist participates in the on-call rotation, which provides emergency psychological services to students on a 24-hr, 7-day-a-week basis year-round. Provision of services also includes proactive recommendations and activities to promote ethical and appropriate psychological treatment and consideration of student mental health needs in a changing environment. Work schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week and hours will be scheduled between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm during the school year. When the school is not in session (summer and holiday breaks), hours will be scheduled between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Bargaining unit position with Milton Hershey Education Association (MHEA). Qualifications Master---s Degree required. Major (s): Clinical, counseling or clinical social work. PA Licensed Professional Counselor, Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker required. Minimum of 3 years--- experience required. Clinical training in child and adolescent psychopathology. Clinical training in psychological assessment. Clinical training in consultation, diagnostic and treatment expertise. Experience with child abuse training in interviewing, investigations, and treatment. Experience with treatment of sexualized behaviors and crisis intervention. Experience with Psychological diagnostic assessments. Experience with assessment in suicide, non-suicidal self-injury and threat assessments. Psychopharmacology/psychotropic medication management. Excellent written and oral communications skills with adults and students. Demonstrated computer competencies (Microsoft Applications, Internet, Google Suite, etc.) Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in a diverse environment. Experience with HIPAA regulations. Act 126 & Act 31 Child Abuse; Title II ADA/HIV Awareness a plus. Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are considered role models for MHS students.
