At A Moment's Notice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements:

Must have CNA license in good standing in the state in which applying
Must have at least 3 months experience working in a long-term care facility
Candidate must have a positive attitude
Demonstrates caring and compassionate nature
Must be reliable
Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet
Must be able to assist with transfer and positioning of residents

Responsibilities:

Assists the resident in maintaining/improving function, encouraging independence whenever responsible for the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and overall hygiene of the resident: baths, shampoos, shaves, nail care, mouth care, and foot care.
Assists with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding of assigned residents.
Takes residents' temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure per facility policy.
Assists at meals - serving, cutting, pouring, encouraging, or feeding as necessary.
Ensure that the resident's room is reading for receiving the resident.
Makes rounds every two hours on residents. Answers all call lights promptly.
