Pottsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking Dietary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food Service
or the Assistant Food Service Director, the Dietary Aide works in
the kitchen assisting in the preparation and service of food and
follows a cleaning schedule. The service of food may include the
transporting of food trays to the nursing units. -

Job Duties: -
Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, snacks, and
beverages. -
Responsible for assembling trays, cleaning, and storage of supplies
and equipment. -
Continuously cleans food service work areas as food preparation and
service is done. -
Label's -nourishment and sends or transports them to resident
floors. - -
Transporting trays and carts to/from the resident floors -
Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies and prepares food in
accord with department procedures and in compliance with state and
federal regulations. -
Follows facility policies and procedures for infection control at
all times to maintain sanitary preparation and storage areas. -
Job Qualifications: -
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. -
One-year -institutional food service experience preferred. -
