Job Description:

The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and provides continuous maintenance for the course and/or range. Position includes employee golf privileges.Position Responsibilities:Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways and roughsOperate Weed-eaters, and blowersEdge and trim and rake bunkersMove golf holes and tee markersPlant trees and shrubs, maintain flower beds, weed control, and leaf removalFertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs; cut, roll, lay and water sod; install, and maintain sand bunkersOperate fairway mowers, greens mowers, tee mowers and rough mowersTrash/litter removalOther duties to be assignedAvailable weekends and holidays a plus Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be dependableMust have friendly personality and enjoy working with the publicWorking knowledge golf operations is preferredAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyWorking Conditions:The employee is regularly required to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, and sit. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly be required to lift up to 10 pounds.Work may extend to weekends and holidaysStarting Pay $12.25 per hour
