Job Description:
** Customer Care Representative/Expeditor******New **The
Position** : The customer care representative/expeditor is
responsible for tracking and ensuring timely execution of priority
or expedited orders in the plant. This role will assist
manufacturing with expediting customer orders and obtaining
updates. * Be the plant liaison for the customer care team for that
facility and for the teams getting intercompany product from that
facility * Communicate backorders, late shipments, damage * Track
Open orders / Backorders * Track RMs * Provide pictures of shipment
for top 5 customers * Focus on top 5 customers open orders at the
manufacturing level * Attend daily production meetings to ensure
customer care has current information to provide to customers *
Investigate customer inquiries from customer care. Reduce cycle
time * Assist with Quality issues when identified with customers
and the QA team * Do order entry function when needed for orders
and RMs * Communicate shipping issues or material outages * Utilize
Service cloud to track customer requests and trends to identify
gaps in processes * Assist with backorder process development *
Review open orders to identify material shortages ahead of time or
complex orders * Resolve labor back charge disputes * Assist in
resolving customer disputes with shortages, freight or other items
* Reviews and determines final disposition of returns and
allowances and labor claim requests. * Quotes prices for special
doors and coordinates special product orders with plant personnel.
* Maintains relationships with source plants and vendors for
accurate pricing and applications. * Supports on-boarding of new
customers. * Understanding of Returns and Allowances. * 2-4 years
prior experience required, industry experience preferred. * High
School Diploma or equivalent required. * Must have MS office
experience and be able to type 40+ WPM * Able to work in a
fast-paced environment. * High level of interpersonal skills to
work effectively with others. * Highly organized with strong
attention to detail. * Proficient in Microsoft Office software
programs, particularly Excel. Ability to be trained in usage of
manufacturing applications. * Excellent written and verbal
communications skills. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. * Excellent
