POSITION SUMMARY: This Manager of Performance and Organizational Development at Penske will align and engage Penske's workforce to its most important work through systemic performance development practices and design, implement, and oversee organization development practices and projects to strengthen individual and company performance. In this role, you will have responsibilities for practices, systems, and programs to help move our company and our associates' careers forward. You will have an opportunity to work with peers in the Talent Development, external thought leaders, and functional leaders across the organization, as well as collaborate frequently with our corporate and field HR teams. Qualified candidates for this role will have meaningful and related experience. A Bachelor's degree required and successful demonstration of excellent communication skills and the demonstrated capability of leading a project or program from conception through to implementation at function or enterprise scale. Must have proven record of taking initiative, learning and quickly applying new insights along with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of others. This role will be located at Penske's corporate offices in Reading, PA, 75 minutes northwest of Philadelphia. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance Management Management of the full performance cycle including goal setting, mid-year check ins, annual assessments, and other performance measures to support team and organizational performance. Continuous review and enhancement of performance development theory, design, system upgrades and implementations. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and HR Business Partners Create and enhance targeted communications and development resources for associates and managers. Collaborate with Compensation and HR Business Partners to simplify management administration time and increase impact, while streamlining processes for end users. Organizational Development Consult with organization leaders and facilitate performance improvement related initiatives. Contribute to the design and delivery of organizational development strategies. Facilitate the implementation and change management of OD initiatives. Lead effective project and team management of organizational effectiveness initiatives. Assess key performance information and identify performance related themes and patterns. Leadership Collaborate with Talent Development team members and leaders in support of ongoing projects and initiatives. Thought leadership on individual, team and organization Performance and Development. Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required, a degree in Human Resources or related social science degree preferred Advanced Business or Social Science Degree(s) preferred Leadership experience strongly preferred Experience with platform training or public speaking, psychological assessments, HRIS interface, interpretation and consultation, and instructional systems design required Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities. Experience with project management and program design / development / implementation preferred Experience with performance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with group facilitation preferred Experience teaching / instructing in a professional setting preferred Must be collaborative & work in a team environment Must have strong consulting skills Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills Must be customer centric with excellent interpersonal skills Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, criminal history, and drug screening) Physical Requirements: -The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
