• Immediate NeedKelly Engineering is looking for a Designer with Solidworks for a client in PA. This is a direct hire opportunity with future growth. Currently they are working a hybrid schedule. This is an immediate need. They will consider a BS or AS Degree in a related field.Must Have Qualifications
  • BS or AS Degree in a related discipline
  • Solidworks Modeling software including:
    • Electrical
    • 3D Models and Assemblies
    • Mechanical Drawings
    • Understanding of electricity and experience performing electrical design.--
    • This position is primarily electrical, with ability and willingness to perform mechanical tasks a secondary role.
      • Ability to read/understand schematic drawings, panel schedules, and specifications
      • Familiarity with UL, NEC and associated regulatory requirements desired--Job Responsibilities
        • Perform electrical and mechanical design activities required to productize customer requests for electrical panels and enclosures.
        • Generate Wiring Diagrams, Wire Lists, Panel Layouts, Enclosure Layouts, and BOMs for Electrical Control Enclosures using Solidworks and Solidworks Electrical.
        • Select appropriately-sized electrical power transmission devices (fuses, relays, circuit breakers, contactors, etc) for Electrical Control Panels.
        • Support purchasing and manufacturing with questions regarding electrical components and with electrical assembly methods and documentation.
        • Basic mechanical drafting and design, such as the modification and drafting of brackets, enclosures, assembly drawings, and related items
