We believe every building we create, and every part of that building, positively contributes to communities where people live, work and play.* Plant Worker 1st shift-$15.00 per hour - Selinsgrove, PA* Associate contributes to the team effort on the production line by rotating duties associated with filling stone molds, packing stones into boxes, finishing/cleaning corner molds, and de-molding finished product. Employee resolves production problems by altering process to meet specifications and by notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Spread cement mixture evenly into stone molds with trowel. Keep mixture from getting between the mold and the carrier.2. Move mold down production line to vibrate the mixture in the mold and stack before sending to the drying bay.3. De-mold finished product in safe and efficient manner to maintain quality of product.4. Clean and stack molds on carriers for the next day's production.5. Inspect finished product for air holes, proper color, form, etc. according to specifications.6. Assemble cartons for packaging. Package finished product into boxes maximizing space and minimizing waste of cartons.7. Transfer and stack finished boxes onto skids as needed.8. Discard unacceptable product into proper receptacles.9. Communicate with coworkers, supervisor and other appropriate personnel about product quality, problems and status of work in progress.10. Perform housekeeping duties as needed.11. Complete accurately and legibly all job related paperwork and submit on time as needed.12. Punch time clock before and after shift to record time worked.13. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.OTHER FUNCTIONS:1. Maintain supplies at workstation.2. Communicate & correct hazards as needed.3. Assist with the training of temporary or new hires.4. Float to relieve other Production Associate 1s for breaks.5. Attend pre-shift meetings and monthly safety meetings as required.6. Notify supervisor if proper tools are not furnished to complete job functions.

** Opportunity Description:* Qualifications:* JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School Graduate/GED.Experience: No experience required.Knowledge: Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require.Mental/Physical/Visual Demands: Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance. Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player. Must be able to work quickly with product and able to lift 86 pounds maximum, able to lift with assistance 87 to 120 pounds, keep colors separate, and record weights accurately. Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods. Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with people. Prefer ability to obtain motorized equipment license.Working Conditions: Extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walking. Extreme weather conditions.Equipment/Tools Used: Required personal protective equipment and some hand tools inclusive of but not limited to trowel, rake, screeder, and possible motorized equipment.Safety: Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times.
