Job Description:

*TransducerWorks is hiring for newly created supervisor positions in the following areas: ** Array* Single Element* Dicing Saw* Grinding/Laser/Epoxy*Supervisory Responsibilities** Trains and/or directs the training of newly hired Assemblers/Technicians within the assigned department* Schedules and assigns Assemblers/Technicians within assigned department, in conjunction with the Manufacturing Director* Reports issues with employees in assigned department to the Manufacturing Director* Interviews, hires, disciplines, and terminates within assigned area per company policies and in cooperation with Manufacturing Director* Complete scheduled reviews of assigned employees as directed by and in cooperation with Manufacturing Director*Duties/Responsibilities: ** Train new hires on current processes* Provide ongoing training to current employees* Report employee training needs and problems to Manufacturing Director* Back fill for Assemblers/Technicians within department, on any shift, as needed* Complete audits* Verify correct documentation and tooling* Ensure daily process documentation is updated appropriately* Assist with verification of failed units/failure analysis* Monitor product standards* Identify and debug problems in products, processes, and equipment and work for solutions* Administers hiring practices in assigned area* Administers reviews of direct reports* Administers discipline practices of direct reports* Maintain production machines and equipment (I.E., preventive maintenance)* Ensure equipment and work area is clean and safe* Follow requirements of the Quality Management System* Follow requirements of the Environmental Health and Safety Program* Follow policies as outlined in the employee handbook* Must possess a willingness to adapt to the company's policies and procedures* Performs other related duties as assigned*Required Education/Experience for all listed positions: ** 5+ years of ultrasound experience generally required* 2+ years direct supervisory experience highly preferred* Broad knowledge of the ultrasound build process required* Small mechanical assembly knowledge required*Additional required experience for Dicing Saw Supervisor: ** Experience with operating K&S 980/982 and Disco DAD3240 dicing saws required* Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 134 85 quality systems preferred* Knowledge of reading drawings and understanding dimensional tolerances and principles generally required* Knowledge of basic cleanroom practices required*Required Skills/Abilities: ** Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff* Excellent organizational and supervisory skills* Ability to motivate employees to accomplish time-sensitive goals* Excellent time management skills* Excellent trouble shooting skills* Intrinsic motivation with a positive attitude* Creative/inventive mind* Excellent eye to detail* Willingness to work on a variety of productsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to commute/relocate:* Centre Hall, PA 16828: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: One location
