DescriptionGeorgia-Pacific Mailers is Hiring!We opened a new
state-of-the-art CLIMATE-CONTROLLED manufacturing facility in
Jonestown, PA and are hiring Quality Technicians!Quality
Technicians help maintain constant quality during production by
inspecting and measuring product samples and communicating the data
to the broader team. The Quality Technicians enable quick responses
to correct defects and/or process issues by effective communication
and working alongside the Operations team, Operations Automation
team, the R& D team, and GP Leaders. They will also be an integral
part in verifying processes to aid in continuous improvement and
aiding in Automation.The objective is that the Customer receives
only high-quality product and that the lines run smoothly. These
are developmental positions with growth potential in the facility

(rotating 24/7 shifts). You will work both shifts on a rotating
basis, which are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. What is a Dupont Schedule?

offer a $1,000 sign on bonus!!!What You Will Do In Your
RoleVerifying that all materials are correct and accounted for on
all jobs based on the envelope format being produced and as
instructed by the line operatorPerforming and maintaining
department quality as required by standard operating proceduresStay
up to date on procedures related to quality inspections,
specification limits and sampling frequencyMonitor packaging for
defects outside of established specification limits, correct and
report any non-conformance issuesPrinting labels when needed and
maintaining pallet flags as requiredWorking with Automation leads
to complete OBC's and line operationChecking incoming raw
materialsHand packing when Automation is downMaintaining an open
dialogue with supervision and other employees to minimize
delaysUpdating upcoming shift so information is passed on
accuratelyMaintaining a clean working environmentMonitor all jobs
for manufacturing defects and report any non-conformance
issuesComply and see that sector employees comply with ALL standard
operational proceduresVerify processes by performing internal
auditsPerform other duties and / or projects as assignedThe
Experience You Will BringRequirements:Experience in a
manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, warehouse OR military
environment OR completion of post high school education in a
manufacturing/industrial centered programBasic computer
skillsAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in
writingThis role works rotating 24x7 shifts (12 hours), with a
7-day break in every 28-day period.What Will Put You Ahead1+ years
experience operating production machineryExperience performing
quality checks according to standard operating proceduresExperience
working with Microsoft OfficeExperience working in a converting

adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing
safety equipmentPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing,
stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12)
