Now Hiring Electrical Technician in Shoemakersville, PA!Description:This company one of the nation's leading brick manufacturers, is looking for a talented and knowledgeable Electrical Technician to join the team at our plant location in Shoemakersville, PA. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.Position Summary:You will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This is a hand's on job, which includes mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, basic carpentry and math skills. An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.General knowledge of all maintenance fields: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics operated equipment, as well as electronic and vacuum systems preferredSkills/Qualifications:

• Associates degree in electrical technology or comparable degree from an accredited school or college
• Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment
• 1+ years instrumentation and controls experience
• Troubleshooting of VFD's, PLC's, motor controls and process control
• 2+ years of hands-on electrical installation and maintenance experience
• Metals or heavy industry is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work EnvironmentHeavy industrial environment.
