Plant Mechanic

Adhere to safety policies and make safety your first Priority. Be involved in and support Safe Production TeamsPlan and perform preventative maintenance tasks to eliminate downtimePerform scheduled, breakdown, and winter maintenance repairs safely, efficiently, and properlyProvide innovative solutions to improve plant reliability, performance, and safetyFabricate Plant components as neededCutting, welding, motor drive component repairs, steel component relining, and daily plant inspections are common tasks.Perform minor repairs to mobile equipment.Operate equipment (loader, manlift, skidsteer, forklift, etc.) to perform necessary tasks. Equipment task training available.Perform Tasks and operate equipment (CAT 980 or 966 is common) as needed to support productionPerform routine documentation (i.e. Hazard Assessment, Hot Work Permit, confines space permits, etc.)













Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a quarry
