POSITION SUMMARY: Penske Transportation Solutions, the leader in

people. As a Project Manager focused on Alternative Vehicles, you
will be empowered to facilitate and manage enterprise-wide
projects, programs and initiatives that span the entire business.
Your successful management of these significant and complex
projects will make a positive impact on our customers, internal
teams, and contribute to the overall success of the business. This
role will focus on alternative vehicles and emerging technology. As
our work in Alternative Vehicles develops in complexity and our
customer needs for sustainable equipment grows, effective project
management and collaboration with internal stakeholders is critical
to the success of our programs. In addition to successfully
managing multiple projects, you will be responsible for the
creation and delivery of tailored communications and collateral
that are in alignment with the style and framework by which we
communicate to our customers about our electric vehicle offerings.

talking to you. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage and lead projects,
programs, and initiatives, including the planning, analysis,
design/development, execution, monitoring, and control of defined
initiatives. • Contribute to the development of Penske's messaging
regarding alternative vehicle strategy, experience, and
sustainability goals. • Present and provide an overview to sales
and customer of Penske's alternative vehicle strategy, experience,
and sustainability goals. • Educate customers on industry trends
regarding the operation of alternative vehicles. • Review
deployment strategies regarding the implementation of alternative
vehicles including infrastructure, charging and software planning.
• Collaborate with multiple levels within the organization to
strategize to help our customer achieve their sustainability goals.
• Strategize with sales to create an alternative vehicle proposal
strategy • Support sales in the presentation of a total vehicle and
charging solution to the customer • Solve customer problems through
helpful recommendations and practical solutions. • Collaborate with
the other Project Managers where appropriate in order to create
consistencies in project management processes and applications. •
Manage and create content, which includes documentation of
projects; Using Six sigma tools to validate effectiveness of
projects; Using Operational excellence approaches that identify the
scope and desired outcomes along with timelines for reporting out
and completing projects. • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience leading/managing projects and project
teams is required; formal training in this area is a plus. •
Effective and strong communication skills, including oral and
written communication skills • Strong presentation and meeting
facilitation skills • Strong people skills and highly organized •
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Strong
reporting and analytic skills • Ability to work efficiently and
independently with strong attention to detail • Green Belt /Black
Belt skills and certification a plus • Bachelor's Degree required •
Active listening and critical thinking skills • Experience in
consulting or training • Knowledge and understanding of vehicle
applications in the transportation industry • Strong desire to
learn and understand the emerging vehicle technologies • Regular,
predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. •
Willingness to travel, work the required schedule, work at the
