ASGCO has a

Field Service Estimator

opening for a candidate that will be responsible for estimating job costs and assisting the service manager with coordinating labor and equipment. This applicant must be able to maintain high quality work and a high level of attention to detail while ensuring service employees' productivity and safe operation of the department. The right person for this position must have experience with project management and estimating experience. This ideal candidate will have been working in an estimating and project management role. The ability to deal with deadlines estimate, schedule conveyor installs/repairs and Project manage simultaneously is a must.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:




Quote and schedule field service jobs and projects with end-user customers


Coordinate field service crews and materials for customer jobs and projects


Learn ASGCO products, installation processes and proper application


Estimate service job costs


Assign crew members to jobs related to their skill sets and abilities


Facilitate communication between employees, other departments, other branches, clients, and external distributors


Resolve operational issues as they arise


Provide exceptional customer service to clients, internal and external partners


Conduct post- job cost and performance evaluations


Assist in the training and safety of all employees


Handle delegated tasks as seen fit with efficiency and effectiveness




Requirements and Qualifications:




Excellent planning and coordination skills are a must


2-3 years of customer service experience in a relative industry required


2-3 years of scheduling experience required


2-3 years of management experience in a relative industry preferred


Must be mechanically inclined


Must have a positive mindset and a willingness to learn


Conveyor/ industrial equipment experience preferred
