Responsibilities as a Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician: Diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of residential and commercial air conditioning, heat pump, oil & gas heating systems. Troubleshooting and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. Upholding our excellent reputation through outstanding customer service, honesty, and integrity. Comprehensive planning and execution of preventative maintenance for HVAC systems. Effective handling of system shutdowns for maintenance and repair of pumps including chill water, heating water, and condensation pumps. Adherence to city, state, and federal regulations. Comprehensive maintenance of requisite records per city, state, and EPA guidelines. Communication of diagnostic results to customers, and provision of recommendations that serve their best interests. Requirements for the Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Role: Minimum of 4 years experience in Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration. Mandatory EPA certificate. Journeyman License preferred. NATE certification is a plus! Secret security clearance is advantageous. Comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration, ice machines, gas, and electrical furnaces. Expertise in single systems, display cases, and walk-in freezers. Strong mechanical acumen. Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building strong relationships with customers and management.
