Job Description Job Description The Cape Island Foods family of stores is hiring for all Cape May locations! Cape May Olive Oil Co, Cape May Peanut Butter and The Cheese Shop in Cape May are all looking for talented, happy people who love being surrounded by and talking about great food. There are multiple openings for customer service oriented retail sales positions. Weekend and night availability are a must and candidates must be available through the fall and holiday season. Both full time and part time positions are available. Job Requirements: Have an outgoing personality willing to engage with customers Desire to learn about and sell food products and has basic food safety knowledge Feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment Must work well in a team orientated atmosphere Have a willingness to take on different tasks throughout a shift Be willing to work a schedule that may change week to week Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and navigate stairs comfortably Have reliable transportation for all shifts. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor. Able to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.
